Custom length FAQs
Can I get shoelaces in a specific length?
Yes. Most of our ranges let you choose an exact length at checkout in 5cm steps — for example our 3mm round wax laces run from 20cm up to 180cm. Our custom text laces also offer a cut-to-size service.
What are the shortest and longest laces you sell?
Lengths span from short low-top laces (around 20cm) up to extra-long boot laces (around 200–220cm), depending on the style and width. Check the length dropdown on each product for its exact range.
How do I measure my shoelace length?
Lay an old lace flat and measure it tip to tip, including the aglets, then round to the nearest 5cm. No old lace? Count your eyelet pairs and use our length guide or the calculator.
Do I need longer laces for boots with hooks?
Usually yes. Speed hooks, D-rings and extra eyelets all use up length, so size up a step from a same-eyelet shoe — and add a little more if you like a double knot.
What if the length I order is slightly off?
A few centimetres either way is usually fine — slightly long just means a bit more lace to tie. If you’re between sizes, go longer for boots and hi-tops, and shorter for low-tops and dress shoes.
