Not sure? Measure your old lace
- Pull one lace out of your Converse.
- Lay it flat along a tape measure — don't stretch it.
- Measure tip to tip, including the plastic ends, and round up to the nearest size.
Flat laces, in every colour
Converse are built for flat laces, which is what gives Chucks that clean, classic front. A fresh set is the easiest way to change the look of a pair — keep it classic in white or black, or switch to a bold colour to make them yours. Just match the length to your model from the chart above.
How to lace your Chucks the clean way
For that crisp, bar-laced look you see on a fresh pair, run the lace straight across each pair of eyelets with the diagonals hidden underneath — it works best on Converse because most have an even number of eyelets. For the full step-by-step on bar, straight and no-gap styles, see our guide to the different shoe lacing styles.
